Josh provides kind, compassionate and patient piano instruction for kids and adults of all ages in the West Hollywood, Los Angeles area, and online for students around the world. He teaches the Music Moves for Piano method, a holistic and comprehensive piano method based on the research of renowned music educator Edwin E. Gordon. His students learn to sing in tune, play by ear, improvise, compose, harmonize, and arrange music, in addition to becoming highly fluent readers. He helps develop the full spectrum of musicianship in his students, and it's creative and FUN!

Services
Private Lessons - Now Available Online
Get the personal, one-on-one attention of private lessons. Tailor your instruction to your personal needs, goals, strengths and areas of growth. Private lessons are 45 or 60 minutes for age 7+, 30 minutes for age 5-6. In the lessons we work on musicianship, music theory and ear training with singing, movement, and rhythm activities, improvise and create, and practice repertoire suitable to your level.

Group Lessons - Now Available Online
Kids and adults learn well in the social environment of group lessons – the learning process becomes collaborative and students motivate each other to grow and achieve. Group lessons are for 2-3 students and will meet on a weekly basis for 50 minutes. I will match you with other students at a similar age/level. Lessons include singing/ear training, rhythm/movement activities, improvisation, music theory, and repertoire/performance practice.
